CAR CRASH: Woman Killed in I-40 Crash

Ludlow – A 77-year-old Arizona woman was killed Tuesday afternoon when her car smashed into a rock wall along Interstate 40 in Ludlow, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to authorities, Martha Sanford, from Fort Mohave, was driving her 2007 Dodge 300 along I-40 at around 2:20 pm when she lost control of her vehicle. Witnesses said the car swerved into the center median where it struck a rock wall.
Sanford was pronounced dead at the scene when rescuers arrived. The CHP are still investigating whether alcohol or health issues were factors in the solo crash.
