CAR ACCIDENT: Woman Killed in Highway 99 Car Accident Identified

Elk Grove - The Sacramento County Coroner’s Department has identified the woman who was killed in a car accident on Highway 99 as Lynn Marie Silva, 51, from Elk Grove.
According to reports, the woman was moving westbound on Elk Grove Boulevard along Highway 99 when her Chevrolet Camaro suddenly swerved off the road for unknown reasons.
The vehicle then went down an embankment, hit several trees, and crossed northbound Highway 99. It stopped near the fast lane and caught fire, which was put off by passing motorists.
Reports said the car sustained major damage.
Authorities were forced to close Highway 99’s two faster lanes for several hours after the crash.
