CAR COLLISION: Woman Killed in Hanford Head-on Collision

Hanford – A head-on collision in the Hanford area has resulted in the death of a 39-year-old woman this morning.
The car accident occurred at about 10:00 am in the intersection of Flint and Sixth Avenues, just northeast of Hanford.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was driving eastbound on Flint Avenue on a 1991 Cutlass Ciera when she ran a stop sign at the intersection.
The woman drove directly on the path of a 2007 Chevrolet pickup, which was being driven by Brian McCutcheon, 27, of Visalia.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene while McCutcheon sustained minor injuries.
The identity of the woman was not released by authorities at the moment.
