Lompoc - A woman got injured after her car hit a pole, causing 1,400 residents to lose power on Wednesday at 2:50 p.m.

The woman was driving her white Nissan on south of Highway 1 towards Wye intersection when it crashed onto the power pole. The pole collapsed near the car, causing power lines fire, according to Lompoc Fire Department officers.
