CAR ACCIDENT: Vendors, Artists Banned from Art Walk Alley after Car Crash

Los Angeles- LA City Task Force has banned vendors and performers along the Art Walk alley on Tuesday to prevent further car-pedestrian accident.
According to reports, the city officials prohibited vending of food or items between Spring and Main streets and Third and Seventh streets. The LA officers also banned any kind of performance or parking of trucks along the Art Walk core area. The ordinance aims to protect pedestrians from vehicle accident who cross the street or walk along the Art Walk area.
Vending permits will be issued outside the prohibited area instead, reports said.
The new ordinance was the city task force's effort to prevent a similar July 14 Art Walk accident that killed a two-month baby at Spring and Fourth streets. The car collided with another vehicle while attempting to parallel park, and ended up hitting the infant in a stroller.
