Unidentified Woman Struck by a Car Dies

Buena Park, C.A. – An unidentified woman who remained on life support for days after she was struck by a vehicle has died, the authorities announced recently. She was pronounced dead at the UCI Medical Center.
Police still cannot identify the woman who was described as Asian, probably a Korean, somewhere between 45 and 60 years old, weighs 140 pounds, and has shoulder-length black hair.
Police said she was hit by a 1998 Ford Sedan traveling at a speed of around 35 mph. The woman was struck by the car while she was crossing Western Avenue, north of Melrose Street. She was not walking in a crosswalk at the time of the incident, police said.
The woman suffered “life threatening head injuries.”
Police released pictures of a woman wearing: a t-shirt, flowered flip-flop sandals and skirt, a canvas jacket, and soft hat. The woman did not have any identification with her, police said.
Authorities are seeking public assistance in identifying the victim.
