CAR ACCIDENT: Two People Injured in DUI Winters Accident

Winters - At least two people were seriously injured in a DUI accident in Winters on Thursday, reports said.
The victims, identified as Daniel Heilman (22) and Erica Jordan (22), were both seriously injured after their Nissan Sentra car overcorrected on County Road, reports said.
Heilman was traversing 93A County Road when he swerved west and rolled over on the roadway edge, CHP officers said.
Paramedics transported Heilman and Jordan to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries, reports said.
CHP officers commented that Heilman and Jordan were heading home from Davis after drinking with friends. Heilman was cited for DUI charge, but was released to undergo surgery.
Authorities are still investigating details on the cause of accident.
