CAR ACCIDENT: Two LA police Officers Injured in Jefferson Park Car Crash

Los Angeles - At least two police officers were injured after a car accident in Jefferson Park on Wednesday at 11 am.
The two Los Angeles Police Department officers (25 and 32 years old) were transporting a man in their custody when a car crashed onto the patrol car at Western Avenue and 37th Street. The patrol car over careered and slammed onto a fence at the intersection.
Paramedics arrived and rushed the two policemen to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The 50-year old man in custody and the other car driver suffered no serious injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
