CAR ACCIDENT: Three Injured in Downtown LA Hit-and-Run Collision

Los Angeles - At least three people were injured after a hit-and-run collision at Alvarado Street on Sunday at 5:30 am.
According to Los Angeles police reports, the driver of Hyundai was traversing west of 7th Street when he crashed onto a southbound Toyota Prius.
The driver and two passengers of Toyota Prius sustained moderate injuries and were rushed to a local hospital. The three people were listed in stable condition, reports said.
Witnesses commented that the Hyundai driver was seen boarding a Metro bus to flee the accident scene. Central Traffic Division officers had the Hyundai impounded for evidence.
Authorities are still investigating which of the two drivers committed a running on red light violation that caused the accident.
