CAR CRASH: Suspected DUI Driver Hospitalized after Solo Highway 33 Crash

Ventura- A 21-year-old male driver has been hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries in a solo car accident along Highway 33.
Authorities said the driver who was identified as Dustin Alan Husted, from Ojai, was traveling south along the area when his vehicle suddenly hit a cement barrier after going to the center divider.
According to reports, the man was brought to Ventura County Medical Center to receive treatment for a fractured nose, facial lacerations, and a fractured skull.
Authorities first arrested Husted on the suspicion of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol but released him to the hospital later on due to the severity of his injuries.
