ROLLOVER ACCIDENT: Street racers severely injured after a rollover crash

San Diego – Two unnamed sailors were seriously injured after a crash Monday afternoon during an illegitimate street racing event.
The accident occurred at about 2 p.m. on the eastbound 94 transition ramp off southbound Interstate 5. According to witnesses, two men in a Mustang were racing against two other cars and swerved through I-5.
The driver of the Mustang lost control, crashed into a guard rail, and rolled over. He suffered severe injuries to his legs, while his passenger is in critical condition.
Roads were closed during the investigation. Police are now searching for other drivers involved in the illegal street racing.
