May 10, 2011
Los Angeles - Rock and Roll icon Rod Stewart's son, Sean, is now facing a lawsuit for crashing a rented Bentley sports car on Sunset Boulevard.
The car hire company has filed a suit in Los Angeles district court, charging Sean Stewart with reckless driving; and asserting about 133,000 pounds as damages, reports said.
According to reports, Sean rented the luxury sports car under his fiancé’s name, Chantal Kendall. The car was seen as driven by a female driver at the time of accident. The car rental firm contested that Sean was the driver of the Bentley car and crashed it. Legal papers were filed in LA district court on April, demanding payment for the cost of repair and loss of rental earnings. Sean Stewart had been imprisoned for assault case in 2002, and has pending car theft case. He had appearances on Celebrity Rehab show.
