CAR ACCIDENT: Sacramento Police Officer Injured in Single Car Rollover Crash

Sacramento - A Sacramento police officer was injured after his patrol car rolled over at Highway 99 on Friday.
The police officer was southbound on Highway 99 when he lost control on the wheels, causing the car to rollover onto a trench, reports said.
The officer was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of back injuries, reports said.
Authorities said that the police officer was on his way to aid in a traffic stop of a prisoner. Further details on the cause of accident are still under investigation.
