CAR ACCIDENT: Rider Killed in PCH Collision

Malibu-A 24-year old rider has died after crashing into a car along southbound of the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on Monday at 1:30 p.m.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP) reports, the car driver pulled out from Point Mugu State Beach parking lot and passed in front of the motorcyclist. The rider then crashed into the side of the car.
Walter Gutierrez, the rider, was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Meanwhile, Mindee Martinez, the car driver, sustained minor arm and leg injuries and was transported to St. John's Regional Medical Center, reports said.
CHP officers said that Gutierrez was traveling with at least 12 other motorcyclists. The group had been in Fillmore's car show and was heading to a seafood restaurant near Mugu Rock when the accident occurred.
Authorities said neither drugs nor alcohol was a factor in the accident.
Gutierrez was married and had a five-month-old child.
