VEHICLE ACCIDENT: No Criminal Charges for Taxi Driver in San Diego Late-night Crash

San Diego — Criminal charges was ruled out for the taxi driver blamed for a late night incident a few months ago in San Diego despite injuring several nightclub customers and passers-by.

The crash caused a brawl in which the patrons mobbed the driver.

A case review by the district attorney reported that there is insufficient evidence to file charges against the driver, 52-year-old, Sam Hassan Daly.

No trace of alcohol was found on Daly.

The accident also caused a 45 year old woman to be operated several times to save her leg, and another leg fracture in a 45 year old man.

A total of 33 people were injured in the incident, mostly sustaining minor injuries.
