Car Chain Accident: Motorist dies in three-car collision

Jamul – A driver was killed early Friday after he was thrown from his vehicle in a three-car crash near Jamul, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to a driver of a red Acura, he was driving along Skyline Truck Trail at Hidden Trail Drive at around 1:00 a.m. when a coyote appeared on the road, which made him step on the brakes.
A friend, who was driving a black Mitsubishi Eclipse behind him tried to slam the brakes but instead rear-ended a Ford F-150, which was pushed into the opposite lane.
The driver of the Eclipse was ejected from the vehicle and killed at the scene.
Authorities are still investigating other details related to the crash.
