CAR ACCIDENT: Montag's surgeon Frank Ryan car crash blamed on Twitter
August 18, 2010
Los Angeles - Sending a Twitter message while driving has allegedly caused Heidi Montag's surgeon Frank Ryan's car accident.
Investigators said Dr. Frank Ryan was allegedly sending a Twitter message about his pet when his Jeep Wrangler broke through the Pacific Coast Highway's guardrail and rolled over on the rocky cliff.
At present, Los Angeles police investigators have not released an official statement on the cause of Ryan's accident.
Los Angeles medical examiner reports said Ryan sustained severe head trauma which had caused his death.
Ryan was sending a tweet about his Border collie dog seconds before the crash. The message contains comment about how his dog overlooks seashore, Ryan's ex-girlfriend Charmaine Blake said.
The dog was with Ryan inside the car, but survived injuries on the head and paw, reports said.
Ryan was popular for performing 10 procedures within 10 hours on Montag. Ryan had also performed plastic surgery for various Hollywood stars.
