CAR CRASH: LAPD patrol car crashes during pursuit

South LA - An LAPD officer has suffered minor injuries Friday afternoon when the patrol car he is driving crashed into a fence at the intersection of Vermont and Florence in South Los Angeles.
The officer suffered several cuts and bruises after the patrol car hit a fence along a concrete center divider, and ended up on top of two parked vehicles.
The officer received medical assistance shortly after the collision. Fortunately, there were no other injuries.
Reports said that the officer was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when the accident happened.
Details of the incident are still under investigation.
