CAR ACCIDENT: Hollywood Teen Dies in 101 Freeway Crash

Los Angeles- A teen driver, resident of Hollywood, was killed after a multiple car crash in 101 Freeway on Saturday after midnight.
Reports said James Hicks, 19, was traveling on southbound 101 when he fatally crashed into another car. The accident caused a secondary collision, injuring a female motorist.
Paramedics pronounced Hicks dead at the accident scene. The 21-year-old female driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries, reports said.
According to reports, Los Angeles police officers resumed operations on southbound 101 lanes after several hours of investigation. Details on the medical condition of the third motorist and other passengers are not yet available.
