CAR ACCIDENT: Hit-and-run Driver Injures Man in Wheelchair

Palo Alto - A man in wheelchair suffered injuries after a car crashed onto him at Myrtle Street and California Avenue on Tuesday at 7 pm.
Witnesses said the man was trying to cross the intersection when a car crashed onto him. The car driver drove away, but later returned at the accident scene, according to reports.
Reports said that the pedestrian suffered moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Police officers commented that the car driver admitted that he left the scene because his license was recently suspended.
Bystanders tried to help the man in wheelchair and called 911. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
