CAR CRASH: Heather Locklear arrested for hit and run crash

Los Angeles - Actress Heather Locklear was given a citation for hit and run crash near Thousand Oaks on Saturday.
Investigators said Locklear's car allegedly hit a street sign near her home and didn't report the accident.
The 48-year-old actress, was charged with hit and run violation. Blair Berk, her attorney, contested that the fault was not yet proven.
Ventura County Sheriff's captain said that a neighbor reported the sound of a crash on Saturday night in the golf club community.
Debris found at the scene and the security camera video footage all pointed to a car registered to Locklear.
"The matter is still being looked into as it is not yet clear who was driving the vehicle. She was given a citation, but not taken into custody," Berk said.
Locklear is scheduled to a May 17 hearing in Simi Valley, California.
In 2008, she had pleaded guilty to a reckless driving violation.
