September 2, 2011
Los Angeles- The Stunt Double of Ed Helms in "The Hangover: Part II" has sued Warner Brothers for a car chase accident during the filming of the sequel, according to reports on Thursday.
Report said Scott McLean has filed the personal injury lawsuit against the Hollywood studio giant this week after the car chase scene failed and caused him head injuries.
According to reports, McLean was performing a high-speed car stunt when Russell Solberg, the coordinator, altered the timing. His car was then struck by another car which went out of control on the set in December 2010.
McLean has suffered traumatic brain injury and underwent series of medical treatment since the accident. The stunt double is seeking compensation for his medical expenses and losses, reports said.
Reports said Warner Bros. is negotiating with McLean and his family to resolve the issues.
