CAR ACCIDENT: Hallucinating woman arrested after crashing car with child aboard

Reno – A 28-year-old woman was arrested after smashing her vehicle into a concrete wall of a parking lot after with her three year-old child after experiencing drug induced hallucinations.

Nicole Ray was detained by Reno police Saturday afternoon in the Washoe County Jail possibly facing charges such as child abuse, probation violation, and driving under drug influence.

The medical staff of Renown Regional Medical Center called the police at about 4 p.m. when Ray claimed that she was bleeding all over her body. They suspect that Ray was under the influence of harmful drugs.

According to the police Ray admitted of using drugs such as methadone and methamphetamine. She still remains in jail Monday because of her probation violation from a previous offense.

The 3-year-old child aboard Ray’s car was not hurt, and was taken into custody by a social worker group.
