Freeway Collision Injures Driver, Damages Porsche

October 5, 2009

SANTA ANA - A brand-new black Porsche worth $92,000 was severely damaged in a I-5 freeway car collision yesterday, October 5.

Gary Edington’s, the Porsche driver and owner, car’s front was severely damaged by a car carrier. A part of the expensive vehicle’s grill was embedded on the bumper of the other vehicle.

According to Edington, he was switching lanes when the other vehicle abruptly stopped in front him. He was not able to step on the brake and collided with the back of the car carrier.

Apart from the two mentioned vehicles, another white Honda CR-V was also involved in the accident. Its side bumper was also damaged from the accident.

He had chest pains—probably because of the airbag—but Edington refused medical treatment, the police said.
