CHAIN ACCIDENT: Four injured in 3-vehicle crash on Highway 1

Santa Barbara County – Four people were injured Thursday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision at Highway 1 on Santa Lucia Road, just south of Lompoc, the authorities reported.
Reports said two people were found trapped inside their vehicles when the firefighters arrived. The other two were out but sustained several minor injuries. They were all brought to a hospital for treatment.
According to Santa Barbara Fire Department Captain Brad Lane, the injuries could have been worse if the victims were not wearing their seatbelts.
Traffic lanes were temporarily closed while the firefighters cleared the accident scene.
