PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: Elderly Man Critically Injured when Struck by Car in Westminster

Westminster- An elderly man is in a critical condition after he was hit by a car while trying to get a cardboard box which feel from his pickup truck, said reports.
According to authorities, the 51-year-old man was traveling westbound along Garden Grove Boulevard when the box fell out of his vehicle. He then went out of his vehicle to get it, but ended up getting hit by an eastbound car.
The man was taken to UCI Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
