CAR ACCIDENT: Driver killed in West Mission Bay Drive car crash

San Diego - A man was killed early Friday when he crashed his car into a guardrail in Mission Beach, police officers said.
The driver, believed to be in mid 50’s, was driving his car at around 8:30 a.m. when he lost control of it at West Mission Bay Drive and Ingraham Street. The car then struck a guardrail by the roadside, killing the motorist at the scene, the San Diego police reported.
According to investigators, a health crisis may have been the cause of the accident, which closed a lane in West Mission Bay Drive for officers to clean up and investigate the car crash.
Information about the man was not immediately available.
