CAR COLLISION: Driver badly hurt in suspected DUI head-on collision

Easton – A Fresno man suffered severe injuries Thursday night after a head-on crash near Manning and Chestnut in Easton, police said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was heading east along Manning road when it crossed the opposing lanes into the path of an oncoming car.
CHP spokesperson Felipe Ibarra said they arrested the driver of the first vehicle because he was driving under alcohol influence when the accident happened.
The suspect was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
