Driver Killed after Vehicle Smashes into Power Pole

Fresno- Authorities are investigating an accident that resulted in the death of a driver who crashed his car into a power pole near Sanger.
According to reports, the man was driving a 1998 Toyota eastbound of Jensen Avenue near Dockery Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle and smashed into the pole.
The driver was still inside the vehicle when it caught fire. He was announced dead at the accident area.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the man’s identity.
Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the accident.
