CAR ACCIDENT: Driver Fleeing from Police Hits, Kills Motorcyclist

East Palo Alto- A car driver, who was running away from police officers, fatally struck a motorcyclist near University Avenue on Wednesday at 5:25 a.m.
According to reports, police officers noticed a car without its lights on. The police asked the driver to pull over, but the car sped off near the University Avenue. The car ended up hitting a motorcycle rider.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead shortly after the crash. Police officers detained some people for questioning. Authorities are still investigating the details on the cause of accident.
