CAR ACCIDENT: DUI Kills Cutler Woman

Fresno -A 38-year old Cutler woman was recently killed in an accident caused by a suspected drunk driver near Exeter, the California Highway Patrol said.
The unidentified woman was a passenger of a southbound 2008 Nissan Titan driven by 42-year-old Andres Rubio Soltero of Cutler that was hit by a Honda Accord on Road 204 at around 7pm.
Reports indicate that the Accord driven by 23-year-old Tomas M. Hernandez was heading north when it suddenly drove across the southbound lanes and rested on the shoulder lanes. Hernandez crashed onto the Titan as he was trying to get back to the northbound lanes.
The woman died at the scene while Soltero suffered minor injuries. Hernandez had to be airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center to be treated for major injuries.
