CAR ACCIDENT: Couple died after San Jose single car accident
June 22, 2010
Soquel - A couple was found dead after sustaining fatal injuries from a single car accident on San Jose highway on Tuesday at 1:50 a.m.
A Los Gatos man (27) and a San Jose woman (27) died instantly after their 2006 Toyota Scion crashed into a farm, parked Volvo, and a palisade.
The man was speeding his car northbound of Soquel near Shauna court when it swerved to the right and smashed into a residential farm. He and his passenger sustained fatal injuries.
The force was able to inflate the air bags, yet the couple's failure to wear seatbelt aggravated the injuries.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) said that fire rescuers and paramedics arrived shortly after the accident. The couple died later despite attempts by rescuers to revive them.
CHP officers commented that over speeding may have been the cause of the accident. The identity of the deceased couple remained undisclosed. Details on the cause of accident were still under investigation.
