VEHICLE COLLISION: Car-SUV Collision Sends Four People to Hospital

Turlock - At least four people have been hospitalized after a car and sports utility vehicle collided along the Geer Road bridge near Hughson.
According to a witness, a northbound Ford Escape suddenly swerved, lost control, went into the southbound lane, and struck a Cadillac.
Reports said the four sustained minor injuries and were brought to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Authorities were forced to close the bridge for an hour after the accident occurred.
Investigation is still ongoing, but it appeared that alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the collision, said police.
