CAR CRASH: Aguanga woman killed in San Jacinto Solo Car Crash

San Jacinto – A 30-year-old woman was killed early Thursday morning after she lost control of her car, veered off the road and struck a light pole on San Jacinto Avenue, the Riverside County sheriff’s office said.
According to the report, Nichole Oertel, of Aguanga, was heading north on San Jacinto Avenue, east of Esplanade Avenue at around 1:30 am when she lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road.
Her car slammed into the light pole which heavily damaged her car. Paramedics arrived at the accident scene about 20 minutes later and pronounced Oertel dead.
Officials are investigating if the solo accident was caused by alcohol intoxication or drugs.
