73-Year-Old Woman Dies after Rollover Accident

San Diego – A 73-year-old woman died after the SUV she was driving rolled over on State Route 79 near Lake Cuyamaca Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The woman was identified as Charlotte Lorraine Winn.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Winn was heading north with her husband aboard her 2001 Ford Explorer on Route 79 near Wolahi Road when she lost control, ran off the road and rolled over several times.
Winn was flown by a helicopter to a nearby hospital, where she died.
Her 68-year-old husband suffered moderate injuries on the crash, an official said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
